Merry Meltdown!

We had a wonderful Christmas at my mom’s house in Tucson. The girls woke up to find Santa’s cookie crumbs and milk droplets, two fun toys, and stockings packed with goodies. That’s when the meltdown began! Katelyn desperately wanted to assist everyone in opening their presents. Fun for her, not so fun for the remainder of us who also enjoy the suspense and anticipation of opening gifts. So we attempted to distract her as others would open their gifts. She loved each of her presents, spending the obligatory 3 seconds staring at it – then tossed it aside and asked for her next one. Such a grateful child!!

Halfway through opening gifts Kendall wanted to take a nap and refused to look at any more toys. So I got to open the gifts that I had so carefully wrapped for her weeks before. Luckily she is enjoying the gifts now.

I was very lucky and received both fun and practical gifts from everyone.

I hope everyone else had a great Christmas as well!
