Motrin really has ticked off a ton of people with their anti-babywearing campaign. I have to say that their campaign is slightly belittling. I never wore my son to be fashionable. I did it because I’m a somewhat-crunchy, co-sleeping, keep-my-baby-close-to-snuggle, believe in the benefits of baby-wearing, mom. I did it because I have two other kids and needed two free hands a LOT. I did it because it hurt me more to carry him in my arms all day than to use the sling. And if my back ever DID hurt, I reached for some Advil.
